Julianna & Michael – Wedding Photographer – Wilmington, NC

This was our first New Year’s Eve wedding and I don’t think there is any way it can ever be topped.  Julianna and Michael started their lives together at the Kenan Chapel in Wilmington, NC and continued to ring in the new year with all their family and friends at one of the most fun-filled and stunning receptions of the year.  With such a fun bridal party and a warm loving family, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend New Year’s Eve.

One of my favorite things Julianna planned:  Knowing she didn’t want a first look with Michael, she opted to do a first look with her father and brother.

For the unity ceremony, they decided to bring a little bit of chemistry into the mix – mixing two chemicals that once mixed could not be physically separated.

Next door to the reception, Jim Quick and the Coastline Band were playing a New Year’s Eve concert and invited the newlyweds over to enjoy a few songs (and brought them on stage to embarrass them a little.)

Once they returned, it was time for party hats and to start the countdown…

…and time for one last drink.

Happy New Year!
